Little Seed – Google Science Fair

Estimated read time 1 min read

Little seeds are sound-bite posts where I share a quick thought, video, article, or some other bit of interesting information.

This week, I am sharing a remarkable finalist of the 2016 Google Science Fair – Kiara Nirghin of South Africa. Her project is Combatting drought with a Low-Cost, biodegradable Superabsorbent Polymer made out of ORANGE PEELS. I think it is an incredible project and outstanding that a 16 year old came up with this sustainable solution. Check out Kiara’s project here and the other projects for the 2016 Google Science Fair here. These kids are all unbelievably smart and all of their projects are worth a look!
